Recall Issued For Light-Up Toys Sold at Cost Plus World Market

Due to a problem that could pose a risk to children, Toysmith along the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission decided to issue a recall that affects at lease 30,00 units of light-up toy frogs and ducks.

The devices, reports show, could pose a risk because the metal conductor pin on the bottom of the toys could suddenly become loose, which could cause it to come detached, making the product extremely hazardous to small children. The toys should be kept away from small children. Parents with the toys in their possession should contact the store of purchase with the products in hand for a full refund.

Whenever you’re affected by a recall that could pose a risk to your loved ones, make sure to ensure that the products are quickly returned in order to avoid a possible injury. The CPSC’s official recall statement can be found here.
