Idea Baby Bath Seats Recalled Over Drowning Risks

Post On 06-18-2013

According to official reports, Idea Baby Bath Seats are being recalled over a possible drowning risk.

The reports show that the official recall announcement was first released by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. According to the news, at least 1,950 units of these devices are affected. The firm has deemed the recall necessary after it noted that the devices do not meet federal safety standards. According to the agency, the devices could tip over while in use, which could cause the baby to drown or become injured as a result.

Affected models are made for One Step Ahead. The bath seats are only recommended for children between 5 months to 10 months of age. Affected products come with “One Step Ahead”, and “Idea Baby” printed in an inset plastic disc that is part of the device.
